The PTS Griffin QD Blast Shield (Gen 2) is a high-quality muzzle accessory designed for airsoft replicas. It is constructed from durable CNC 6061 aluminum alloy, ensuring longevity and resilience. The anodizing finish provides a hard, durable, and visually appealing surface treatment.

Compared to the Gen 1 PTS Griffin Blast Shield, the Gen 2 blast shield surface has the same special machined fluted surface design as the PTS Griffin M4SD Mock Suppressor series, which reduces weight while increasing body strength.

The fast and positive Quick Detach (QD) mechanism ensures swift installation and removal without any wear issues.

This blast shield is compatible with our PTS Griffin line of QD muzzle devices, including the M4SDII series flash hider. It is also compatible with most standard airsoft USGI A2 style flash hiders in the market.
Please note that this product description is specific to the PTS QD Blast Shield designed for airsoft replicas and does not pertain to its functionalities on real firearms.

NOTE: Although many companies manufacture USGI A2 style flash hiders, not all of them are dimensioned properly, so compatibility is not guaranteed with third-party flash hiders.

    A good little muzzle device

    Having received this to review I was keen to see how it functioned and looked on a few different guns. I wasn’t in the least bit concerned that the quality of construction and materials would be anything less than superb as we have come to expect and receive from PTS and I wasn’t disappointed. The build of this is really nice and it slides into the flash hiders I used with a positive click locking it in place. It looks great especially on a SBR and does direct the sound forward too.

    Great quality and very sturdy! Improves the look. Great length and weight for airsoft rifles.
